Hello there,

I’m Gilles, the face behind Studio Copper. I am an illustrator, motion designer, visual thinker, and creative maker. Born in Belgium, based in Sint-Niklaas, and recently powered by coffee (because baby number two is on the way).

I move between motion, design, and visual storytelling, following wherever the idea takes me. Sometimes that means bold visuals for TV; other times, artwork that feels right on a wall. Either way, it’s about giving shape to ideas that stand out.

The name Copper comes from the obvious: I’m a redhead. But also from what copper does best, conduct energy.

The goal is simple: bring ideas to life visually. No fluff, no overcomplication, just honest work, clear communication, visuals that stand out, and the occasional dad joke (because, well… second kid).
